Pre-launch draft — pending legal review

Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

1. What We Collect

We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, date of birth, gender, location, and health profile details (allergies, chronic conditions, medications, surgical history, and medical history). We also collect information about your use of the platform, such as appointments booked and consultations attended.

We collect payment information through our payment processor. Salux does not store raw card details — these are handled directly by our payment provider.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate the platform: matching you with doctors, facilitating consultations, processing payments, and sending appointment-related notifications. We do not use your health data for advertising.

We may use de-identified, aggregated data to improve our services and understand platform usage patterns.

3. Health Data and Access Controls

Your health profile is private by default. Doctors can only access your health data when you explicitly grant access — typically during the booking process for a specific appointment. You can revoke this access at any time from your account settings.

Organization administrators who enroll employees on Salux can see aggregate plan usage but cannot view any individual's medical records or consultation details.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as necessary to operate the platform: with doctors you consult, with our payment processor to complete transactions, and with infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality obligations.

We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the safety of users or the public.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and health data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time. We will process deletion requests within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is completely immune to risk, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can manage most settings directly in your account. For requests that require our assistance, contact us at support@saluxhealth.com.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. We will notify you of material changes by email or a prominent notice in the app before changes take effect.
